Exterior

- Bring in your mail, packages, and newspapers.
- Turn off any outdoor faucets that might be dripping or running.
- Pick up any trash/debris on your property.
- Inspect your home for any signs of pests or rodents.
- Visually inspect your lawn, landscaping, and swimming pool to make sure service providers have completed work.
- Put out your garbage or bring in bins.
- Check garage door operation.
- Check all exterior lights.
Interior
- Go through every room in your home, including the basement and garage, and look for any concerns.
- Keep an eye on your thermostats and make sure your home is at your predefined temperature.
- Check to make sure your water heater is working properly.
- Check the electrical service panel for tripped breakers.
- Flush all toilets, run all faucets, and run water through the disposal, dishwasher, and washer.
- Inspect your home for any signs of pests or rodents.
- Make sure your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are working properly and have fresh batteries.
- Water your plants.
- Address any concerns you may have at your home that you forgot about or need.
